Jacqueline Brecker

Jacqueline Brecker, Studio 3 instructor and alumni, is truly making a name for herself these days! Her work with multiple Valley theatres has grown tremendously this year. She has recently had an 8-month run of performances with the Hale Theatre, most recently in A Christmas Carol, Mary Poppins, Tarzan, Something’s Afoot, and leading roles in both Footloose (Ariel Moore) and Sound of Music (Liesl Von Trapp). She also gave breathtaking performances as Louisa in Carousel with Mesa Encore Theatre and as Betty Rizzo in Grease with Studio 3 last season. As a result of her hard work and dedication, the National Youth Arts awarded her with “Artist of the Year” for the 2014-2015 season. This is a prestigious title few are awarded, and we are proud of Jackie for her accomplishments!

Jackie began her training at Studio 3 in 2009 with our first production of Grease. She received much of her training through Showstoppers, where she continued to wow audiences with her outstanding stage presence, stellar vocal talent, and dance ability. Jackie has performed numerous roles in Studio 3 shows. Some of our favorites include: Millie Dismount (Thoroughly Modern Millie), The Chaperone (The Drowsy Chaperone), and Serena/Elle US (Legally Blonde).

Jessica Webb

Jessica Webb, Studio 3 Instructor and Alumni, is currently pursuing her professional acting career in the Big Apple! Jessica moved to New York this August to train and audition with some of the nation’s best in the musical theatre capital of the world. We can’t wait to see what this experience will become for her!

Jessica Webb met artistic director Emma England when they were performing together in the professional production of Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the Broadway Palm Theatre in Mesa. She soon joined Studio 3, where she debuted in her first Studio 3 show as Violet Grey in You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown (2010). Jessica trained in many areas of the arts at Studio 3 and was a graduating member of the Studio 3 Showstoppers. She graduated high school a year early so that she could spend an extra year working in professional theatre and teaching at Studio 3 before moving to New York, just weeks after her 18th birthday.

Jessica has received many awards from the National Youth Arts, as well as AriZoni Nominations for her performances in youth theatre at Studio 3. She also was chosen for the prestigious “Performer of the Year” award, given to 1 student each year at Studio 3, who exemplifies outstanding performance and work ethic. We have no doubt that Jessica will go far and can’t wait to see how things turn out for her in New York!
