Jamie Bauer-Spano

Jamie Bauer-Spano is an actor, director, and teaching artist who recently returned to the Valley from the Denver Metro Area. While living In Denver, Jamie was a resident teaching artist with the Aurora Fox Theatre and continually worked with Kaiser Permanente’s Educational Theatre Programs as a Facilitator, Project Coordinator and Touring Actor. She is excited to continue sharing her passion for theatre with Limelight.

Jamie received her BA in theatre with a minor in music vocal performance from Metropolitan State University of Denver. She is also a graduate of the Southwest Shakespeare Conservatory and has studied with The Denver Center Theatre Academy, Visionbox Actors Studio, Bristol Academy of Performing Arts, and Megaw Actors Studio. Jamie believes in continued training of her craft so she can continue to challenge herself and learn new techniques to pass on to her students.

Jamie has been performing for as long as she can remember. Retaining vivid memories of early dance recitals (Button up Your Overcoat) and her first stage production, The King and I, Jamie has grown from making up commercials in front of the bathroom mirror and epic dance routines in her living room to a career in the performing arts. Although Jamie’s early training was in dance and music she found that acting is where she really thrives. She believes that art can change lives and loves fostering creativity and confidence in youth through theatre arts.

This season, Jamie Bauer-Spano is directing and teaching workshops, summer camps, and acting classes at Studio 3 Performing Arts. Jamie also runs our Actor’s Conservatory program, aimed at giving everyone who participates a role! We are very excited to have her in our Limelight family!
